The A.G.A Group operates a policy of ‘best practice’ and as such is a registered ‘Achilles UVDB’ Scheme member and quality assured to both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Achilles operates the UVDB supplier management service on behalf of all the major UK utility organisations. It works to identify, qualify, evaluate, and monitor suppliers on behalf of major organisations worldwide.

The UVDB Verify audit and assessment service focuses on risk critical issues and provides demonstrable compliance of the A.G.A Group to Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) requirements.

A.G.A Group consultants are bound by the code of conduct of both the Institute of Fisheries Management and the Society of Biology. These Institutes place Codes of Conduct on the conduct of their professional members the A.G.A Group adheres to these regulations most stringently.

ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for an organisation's internal Quality Management. The term 'quality' refers to all those features of a product or service which are required by the customer. An organisation's 'Quality Management' refers to an organisation's actions to ensure that its products or services satisfy its customers' quality requirements and complies with any regulations applicable to those products or services.

ISO 14001

ISO 14001 was first published as a standard in 1996 and it specifies the requirements for an organisation's environmental management system. It applies to those environmental aspects over which an organisation has control and where it can be expected to have an influence.
